Because of its size and features, it is often not very energy efficient.

• Bar model. This model is actually sold quite infrequently. It is therefore not really suitable for the kitchen. These models are very small and are mainly used as minibars in hotel rooms.

Buying a good fridge is often quite an investment. But exactly how long can you use such an appliance? That depends a bit on the model you choose. So although it may be a lot more expensive to buy, you can use it for twice as long. Cheap is often expensive after all.

• Pay attention to the climate class. A climate class indicates the minimum and maximum temperature at which a fridge still functions. Especially if the fridge will not be installed in the kitchen, but in the garage, for example, it is important to pay attention to this.
